So brows are the new bums, which were the new boobs. I may not be blessed in either department but boy do I got some full brows. Keeping them maintained is a full time job, but my workload just got a little a lot easier with the discovery of Clinique Brow Powder, I find the powder/shadow form a lot more natural than harsh brow pencils.
While we’re blessed with beautiful blue skies all summer long in Malta, we’re also cursed with humidity ! I’ve recently been using this multi-award-winning product, John Frieda Frizz Ease , it does everything it says on the bottle, tames and de-frizzes, all while leaving my mop beautifully shiny.
The 90’s, my fave’ fashion decade, along with the 70’s, so it’s no surprise I’m lapping up the current choker craze! Stepping away from the ever-popular Goth velvet types, I’ve gone for light colours with pretty pendents, much more fresh and summery – variety is the spice of life!
I’ve always been a fan of the bright- lip, but this month I decided to try something new and purchased this NYX Matt gloss in a browny nude, and I gotta say I’m loving it! In the process I’ve also discovered lighter tones make lips look fuller – score!
I’m a devoted fan of Swedish brand Daniel Wellington. Ever since discovering the brand last year, my collection is fast-growing! My latest love is the Dapper St Mawes, I absolutely love the vintage feel to this particular design, the brown leather strap (so spring) and check out those quirky blue hands. Get your own Daniel Wellington watch with 15% off by using code KIRADRURY until the 15th June!
This month I’ve stocked up on playsuits, they’re so darn comfortable and cute, this one’s from Zara and it comes in mustard and black too.
I’m having a Kimono moment, they’re lightweight, pretty and so versatile, they work as a great cover up come sundown when things get a bit chilly, and once it gets warmer I’ll be wearing them poolside too!
So as you know I have super pale skin and I’ve been covering up with pretty maxi dresses and jumpsuits but now I’ve stepped it up a notch with He-Shi . This gradual tanner is the best I’ve used, (and trust me, I’ve been through more than a few brands). Easy to apply, streak-free and loved by Zoella. This self-tan has got great references.
Im over-the-moon that trainers are having a huge fashion moment, they’re not just reserved for the gym and are now perfectly acceptable on the dance-floor! I’m loving the metallic detail on these Adidas Originals, they give the classic design some nighttime chic!
